Attending and completing an International Student Check-in session is required before you will be able to complete on-campus employment authorization procedures, apply for a Social Security number and Tennessee driver’s license, or complete SEVIS registration/validation. Immigration regulations require that all F-1 or J-1 students must have their SEVIS record registered/validated after arrival at the University of Tennessee. International Student and Scholar Services can complete this process only for students who have completed one of the International Student Check-in sessions.
*If you need to reschedule your check-in session or will not be able to attend any of the published check-in sessions, email email@example.com.
