NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR’S PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

An application concerning the employment of one or more alien workers for the following permanent position will be filed with the Department of Labor (for non-schedule A positions) or with the Department of Homeland Security (for Schedule A positions).

Job Title: Assistant Professor of Marketing

Job Duties: Conduct state-of-the-art research, teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in marketing (three courses per year), and perform service as needed.

Job Requirements: PhD in marketing or a directly related field by time of appointment. Also requires demonstrated ability to conduct research publishable in the discipline’s premier journals; ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels; any specialization area where conducted research has implications for marketing practices will be considered, independent of methodological or theoretical orientation; ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity and intercultural goals of the University. Preference will be given to applicants at the Assistant Professor level

The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.
